BIO

Stiko is one of the most compelling new voices in Americana and country music to emerge from Scandinavia. His songs carry the timeless feel of classic American storytelling — music that sounds as if it has always existed, yet is rooted both in Nashville and his home region of Dalarna, Sweden. With a captivating voice and deeply affecting lyrics, Stiko is a master storyteller with rare presence and authenticity.

He has appeared on national television on Nyhetsmorgon (TV4), received five nominations at the prestigious Josie Music Awards in Nashville, and collaborated with acclaimed American songwriters. Stiko has performed at iconic venues such as 3rd & Lindsley and Music Row Freakshow in Nashville, toured with Dave Fenley and Chris Kläfford, and played festivals including Nashville Nights in Denmark and River Valley Country Festival in Sweden. In 2025, he was invited to perform at UK Americana Music Week in London and also appeared at Coming Home Country Festival in Grimstad, Norway.

In December 2025, Stiko chose to leave his former stage name Otis Kerp behind — a name originally created to separate his English material from his Swedish catalogue as Stiko Per Larsson. Over time, it no longer felt right. Stiko is the name he carries in Sweden and around the world; two names had become one too many. Behind Stiko stands Stiko Per Larsson — an established Swedish artist and songwriter with more than 25 million streams and over a decade of albums and touring behind him.
